... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until midnight CST
tonight...

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect...
for the following counties...
* in Oklahoma... Adair... Sequoyah and Le Flore. In Arkansas...
   Benton... Sebastian... Washington... Carroll... Madison... Crawford
   and Franklin.

Hazardous weather...
* an inch or two of additional snow remains possible but the
   ongoing winter storm is winding down as the upper level system
   moves east of the area. Any measurable snowfall is expected to
   end by midnight.

* An additional one to two inches of snow can be expected although
   melting of the snow will continue through the evening until
   temperatures fall below freezing.

Impacts...
* travel will become hazardous as any slush or water freezes on
   Road surfaces. Spotty power outages are still possible in some
   areas.

* Counties where it was reported that roads were slick in spots...
   Osage... Pawnee... Tulsa... Rogers... Creek... Okfuskee... Okmulgee...
   Wagoner... Cherokee... Adair... Muskogee... McIntosh... Sequoyah...

Flood Watch
Issued by the National Weather Service at 9:44 am CST on February 8, 2010


The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a
* Flood Watch for
the Poteau river near Panama
* until Tuesday evening.
* At 9:30 am Monday the stage was 19.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river may rise to near flood stage Tuesday afternoon
if the expected rain and snowfall occurs. Listen for later forecasts
and possible warnings.
